The DSAV Buddy Walk unites families, friends, and community members to celebrate inclusion, promote acceptance, and support individuals with Down syndrome.

2026 Buddy Walk®

Location: ​717 Credit Union Field at Eastwood, Niles

Gates Open at 11:45am
Walk Kicks off at 1:00pm
DSAV Buddy Walk of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania is back for its 19th year! Join us on September 20, 2026 at 717 Credit Union Field at Eastwood to promote Down syndrome awareness, acceptance and inclusion. Experience a day filled with family friendly activities, dancing, musical performances and a 1/2 mile awareness walk. Proceeds from the Buddy Walk are used to support programs and services provided by the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley.

Event Registration: The Registration fee includes the annual Buddy Walk event T-shirt, ball park lunch and all activities. Individuals with Down syndrome are free but must be registered along with a parent/guardian. Buddy Medals will be distributed to registered individuals with Down syndrome.

Event T-Shirts: Register by August 17, 2026 to be guaranteed to receive your event shirt in your chosen size.
