The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley (DSAV), is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization serving Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. DSAV was established to provide support, resources, advocacy, education and opportunity for those with Down syndrome and their families.

 Our vision is for people with Down syndrome to be active participants in a fully inclusive society.

Our organization is open to family members, medical professionals, educators and anyone interested in helping those in our community with Down syndrome  to reach their fullest potential.

As affiliate members of the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) and The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), our goal is to offer resources and support to families in our surrounding area.

We encourage parents, families, friends and medical professionals to work together in building a future where everyone can live successful and productive lives.
