NEW AND EXPECTANT PARENTS
Congratulations on your new baby! Learning the unexpected news that your child has Down syndrome may generate a wide range of emotions, concerns and unanswered questions.
The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley, was formed by parents just like you who love their children deeply. We exist to support you and your newborn, be an advocate for your child as he/she grows and serve as a resource for your family to help navigate.
We have information we can make available to you immediately by mail or you are welcome to stop in our office. We are also happy to connect you with a Down Syndrome New Parent Mentor who can meet with you wherever you choose to share knowledge and offer support. Wherever you find yourself at this moment, know we care and we want to help meet your needs.
Call us at 330-726-3728 or e-mail office@dsav.org with your questions or inquiries. We are here to help and to help you share in the joy of having a beautiful new baby!
