We awarded $3,250 in scholarships to area students who are preparing for careers benefitting persons with Down syndrome. To date, DSAV has awarded more than $22,000 in scholarships to area students since 2011! The awards were presented during the World Down Syndrome Day dance party, which attracted more than 300 DSAV members and their families. Five students were awarded scholarships in 2019. OHIO DOWN SYNDROME LICENSE PLATES
Ohio Down syndrome awareness license plates are available for purchase through any Ohio BMV. For every license plate sold, $25 goes to support advocacy and awareness efforts at six Down syndrome associations in Ohio and DSAV is one of them.
