DSAV Services - Family Grants

The application deadline for this quarter is March 31st. 

Grant Application

Distribution amounts of up to two hundred and fifty ($250) dollars per family. 

These funds can be utilized by our members to help pay for :

1 ) medical expenses not covered by insurance

2)  therapies including PT, OT and Speech

3)  activities such as classes, camps,or organizations open to all children with and without disabilities

4) family members to attend conferences, seminars or training sessions that address issues pertinent to Down syndrome

An independent committee determines the distribution of funds.

In 2009, we were pleased to award over $10,000 to 27 local DSAV families for medical expenses, therapies and activities outlined in the grant application.

DSAV was awarded $5000 from CVS/ Caremark and an additional $5000 was distributed from the DSAV general fund.
