DSAV Services - Family Grants

 

Over $10,000 in grants were distributed

to DSAV families during 2011.

The application process will open again in 2012.

About DSAV Family Grants:

Distribution amounts of up to five hundred ($500) dollars per family per year are available during the grant application period. 

These funds can be utilized by our members to help pay for :

1 ) medical expenses not covered by insurance

2)  therapies including PT, OT and Speech

3)  activities such as classes, camps,or organizations open to all children with and without disabilities

4) family members to attend conferences, seminars or training sessions that address issues pertinent to Down syndrome

An independent committee determines the distribution of funds.

Since the inception of the DSAV Family Grant program in 2009, we have distributed over $30,000 to our members!

DSAV is pleased to periodically receive funds through the CVS Caremarks program to partially fund our family grants.
