Welcome and Congratulations!  You have either just found out you are expecting or have just given birth to a new baby with a diagnosis of Down syndrome.

A Promising Future Together

The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley exists to support you and your baby.  To be an advocate for your child as they grow, and be a resource for you and your child to help you navigate through the days, months and years

ahead.

We would love to provide you with our Welcome Baby Packet and Basket. Either print and mail this postcard or email us and we will make arrangements to get them to you.

We are parents just like you who love their children deeply.  Each of us had to navigate through the feelings of hopelessness, fear, confusion, uncertainty,

anger, grief or other emotions that are very natural to feel when you hear the unexpected news that your child has Down syndrome.  Many of us did not have the immediate support of other parents who have children with Down syndrome. We were surrounded with loving family members who were uncertain how to respond, and caring professionals with an obligation to provide the best medical advice.  For these reasons, the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley was formed.  To bring hope, help, support and resources to families touched by Down syndrome.   Let us know how we can help you!  330-726-DSAV or E-mail us
