DSAV Fitness Programs
Offered September through May
Coach Caroline Ritenour of All Abilities Swim works with your child in a small group setting on basic water safety and swim strokes. Two levels offered:
S.W.I.M Level 1 - Ages 4+
This is for individuals who do not know how to swim. This class will work on skills such as blowing bubbles, putting face in water, laying on belly and back, and more. A caregiver MUST be by the side of the pool, as children will be taking turns in the water. The caregiver will make sure their child stays safe on the outside of the pool while an instructor is working with another child
S.W.I.M. Level 2
Recommended for individuals who are comfortable going under water and do not need a flotation device in water wher they can touch the bottom. The focus will be beginning swim strokes and water safety skills, as well as social skills such as waiting for my turn, sharing swim toys & more! Caregiver must remain on deck and is responsible for their child when the child is waiting for their turn in the water.
